Polemonium caeruleum commonly known a Jacobs Ladder is a tough little plant. This in no way detracts from its beautiful delicate white flowers that come out in June and last through the summer. It’s a remarkably trouble free plant that as long as it’s kept from getting too dry will do you proud. It will self seed freely but it’s in no way invasive, this only adds to it’s joy.
With ladder like pinnate leaves it bushes out into a spread of lush foliage before sending up the flower spires. Usually blue, this variety is white so it’ll compliment almost anything.
